Daniel R. Mintz - Founding Managing Director, Olympus Capital Holdings Asia

Daniel Mintz is the founder and Managing Director of Olympus Capital, one of the leading independent direct investment groups in Asia.

Daniel has more than 20 years of experience in Private Equity and Mergers & Acquisitions in Asia and the United States. Prior to launching Olympus Capital in 1997, Daniel established the Asian Direct Investment Business of Morgan Stanley Capital Partners ("MSCP"), the private equity group of Morgan Stanley (now Morgan Stanley Dean Witter). Daniel was a member of the worldwide Investment Committee of MSCP, which managed over $4 billion of private equity capital. Before moving to Asia in 1992, Daniel spent four years with MSCP in New York and two years in Morgan Stanley's Mergers & Acquisitions Department.

Daniel holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business Administration and an AB degree from Brown University. In 1984 he received Fulbright Fellowship in Egypt and is a member of the World Economic Forum, The Council on Foreign Relations and Young President's Organization.
