Absolute Software – Resellers can help customers strengthen data protection strategies by adding the Computrace ® agent by Absolute Software to their security solutions. Installed on a notebook or desktop, Computrace enables IT departments to centrally track client devices, manage hardware and software inventory, remotely delete data, and help retrieve stolen or lost computers. Absolute Software is supported by Tech Data's software licensing team, which simplifies software procurement for resellers through specialized support, dedicated resources and e-business tools.
Elgato – Elgato develops solutions for converting video for storage, editing and viewing on Apple’s Mac, iPhone and iPod devices. Elgato products also can be used to develop video content for Apple-based digital signage installations, which will be on display in Tech Data’s Apple Lab Elgato solutions will be available through Tech Data’s Apple SBU, which resellers leverage to more profitably develop, sell and support a broad range of Apple-based solutions.
Infonic – The latest addition to Tech Data’s Document Imaging SBU, Infonic’s document management software streamlines business process automation, document archiving and retrieval, and office workflow. Tech Data’s Document Imaging SBU helps resellers develop imaging and content management solutions for a broad range of vertical market applications.
In addition to Infonic’s document management software, the SBU product offering includes scanners, storage hardware, imaging software and accessories.
With PlateSpin, resellers can offer customers powerful tools to better manage virtual environments. PlateSpin offers resellers an array of planning, analysis and management capabilities that help users generate even greater return on their virtualization investment. For example, Novell’s PlateSpin enables users to track real-time usage and allocate resources accordingly; migrate workloads between physical and virtual servers; and rapidly recover data following a systems outage.
Samsung – Tech Data broadened its distribution agreement with Samsung — which already included printers, displays, TVs, projectors and accessories — by adding the vendor’s business-class notebooks, netbooks and ultra-mobile PCs. Samsung is the latest addition to Tech Data’s client systems solutions portfolio, which includes desktops, notebooks, tablet PCs, workstations, thin clients, handhelds and other devices from leading manufacturers.
Quattro – Quattro offers resellers a wide range of professional IT services they can incorporate into their solutions offering, including help desk support, hosted data backup, managed call center implementation, and risk management consulting. Supported by Tech Data’s AIS Division, Quattro services offer resellers an opportunity to add margin-rich services to their IT solutions, generating new revenue while delivering more comprehensive support to customers.
